Good Afternoon All!
After a long wait, I finally received
my Ipsy Glam Bag this month! It took
longer than usual as I redeemed points
for some really awesome products.
So here we go!
E Nature – Birch Juice Hydro Sleeping Pack
I’m always excited to receive these kinds of products.
Anything that is going to work its magic while I sleep
is pretty awesome in my books. This item specifically is
74% birch juice (aka. birch sap) which helps quench your
skin while you sleep. Looking forward to the results of this item!
Luxie Beauty – Luxie Rose Gold Medium Angled Shading Eye Brush 207
Okay so as previously mentioned, I have heaps of brushes! They all seem to
be known for different things so it’s great to have options!
This one in particular helps to blend any eye look like a boss
but it can also be used for any cream and powder shadows.
Bring on the bad ass eye looks!
Feel – Renewed Pumpkin Walnut Facial Cleanser
So it’s that time of year where everything pumpkin related comes
to the forefront. I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin unless its for carving.
However, this product looks pretty awesome and you can never go wrong
with a good cleanser! This exfoliating cleanser wakes up your complexion and has a spicy/sweet autumn-y scent. This naturally-foaming scrub is sulfate free.
Smashbox Cosmetics – Photo Finish Radiance Primer
Smashbox is one of my favourite brands. I have never tried
their primer but I am loving the idea of the glowy highlighter
aspect. It hydrates, fills in lines, and evens out your skin. What
more could you want?! It can also be used over makeup to add
that extra lit look for your selfies.
Dirty Little Secrets Cosmetics – Lip Gloss in Nude Beach
This lipgloss is super shiny and light weight. It is not even
the least bit sticky and gives a wicked top coat finish to any
base colour you have underneath. The ” your lips but better ”
Nude Beach shade is perfect for any occasion. Bonus: It smells
like kettle corn so you just might catch yourself re-applying more
often than usual.
Bonus Items : Lime Crime -Unicorn Hair Dye in
“Neon Peach” and “Dirty Mermaid”
With Ipsy, you get points for reviewing your overall
Glam Bag and the products individually. There are a
number of things to choose from each month in regards
to redeeming those points. I chose to get these semi-permanent
hair colours. I have led a pretty boring hair life for most
of this year and am glad I am finally able to spice things up a bit!
And that ends the September monthly subscriptions.
All in all, I am pretty happy with the products I receive.
Curious to see what Spooky October items are in store!

Good Afternoon All!
Just a day apart and the next subscription has arrived!
I’m kind of on the fence about how I feel in regards to
this month. I like 2 of the four products but considering
July and August were good months for products and the
incredibly low price for TOPBOX, I think I am still going to
stay on board. So here we go below!
IBY Beauty Bubbly Highlghter – Retail Price: $14.98
So this highlighter in particular boasts about its luminous peachy appearance.
Not gonna lie, it kind of threw me off as a highlighter. I have seen this shade many
times for eyeshadows and blush but I have a hard time considering this a highlighter.
On the positive side, it is a decent size and if it gives off that sexy and healthy glow it
claims to have, then I’m down!
Avry Beauty Chamomile Gloves – Retail Price: $1.38
These waterless manicure gloves are pre-filled with soothing shea butter
which is naturally rich in Vitamins A, E and F. I think these would be a great
purchase for the winter months when hands tend to dry out and need that extra
GLAMGLOW Youth Mud Tinglexfoliate Treatment – Full Size Retail Price: $69
This was easily the best thing I received from this months Topbox. I had
previously received the white GLAMGLOW Supermud clearing treatment in
an earlier Topbox and tried it last week for the first time. I absolutely LOVED
it! It was easy to apply and I really like that it turned blue and became very tight,
visibly defining my pores. My skin felt amazing after washing it off and it didn’t
make for much clean up like some other masks. I believe this mask will be just
Caudalie VINOPERFECT Radiance Serum – Full Size Retail Price: $89
It’s products like these that end of getting you hooked on super expensive
things because you received the sample and know what the good life is.
Use morning and evening and apply to the face, neck and décolleté for
luminous and even looking skin.
And there you have it! I really like the GLAMGLOW & Caudalie products
and I’m sure I can learn to love the peachy highlighter. The gloves as
previously mentioned will be great for the colder months, just not very
ideal right now as I’m not really a big manicure person. All in all, not bad!

Good Afternoon All!
This is the final installment of my three month
subscription with Boxycharm which makes me super
sad considering I LOVE all of the full size products I have received.
Luckily enough, when the October box spoilers come out, I have the option
to subscribe again after seeing what is to come. This will really be the deciding
factor for the upcoming months as it can get quite costly to have several monthly
subscriptions. So let the September edition commence!
Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette by PUR The Complexion Authority – Retail Price: $34.00
You’ve got to hand it to boxycharm, including full sized eyeshadow palette is a definite way to hook your subscribers.
This is my third palette and I am more than excited to try these out. Unfortunately during shipping, one of the eyeshadows cracked but otherwise I am quite happy with this company and product.
Eyebrows by MAC Cosmetics – Retail Price: $18.00
Eyebrows are getting more hype than ever now. With new trends and styles,
it seems all makeup companies are trying to hop on board the best brow game train.
MAC has been an iconic brand for many years so I trust that this product will be quite
defining. It has a self sharpener which is great for when your on the go.
Ultra Satin Lip by Colourpop – Retail Price: $6.00
The last satin lip colour I received from Colourpop was a bright,
in your face Fuchsia. I was beyond excited as I am all about the bold
and highly pigmented lip products. Sometimes just having mascara and your
lips done can give off the same vibe one would get from applying a whole face
of makeup. This colour seems quite interesting. It’s almost a brown tone which
actually would be nice for a more subtle look and plays right into the season.
Loose Blush by Studio Makeup – Retail Price: $35.00
I have received a lot of blushes as of late which makes it hard to choose from.
My go to is the Seraphine Botanicals Blush as it has proven to be tried and true.
I have played with the Pacifica duo I received in my Ipsy last month and find it
very intense. I guess it’s the whole ” less is more ” with that particular blush. I am
not sure how I feel about the loose blush idea. I would be worried that it would fall
onto the lower half of my face, disturbing the foundation. Either way I’ll give this guy
Face Perfecting Brush by bareMinerals – Retail Price: $28.00
So I probably own around 20 brushes by now. I have a lot to
choose from but also don’t use quite a lot of them as well.
This brush in particular is known for foundation coverage.
I am especially excited about this as it can be difficult to find a
brush that can properly blend your foundation without coming
off cakey or flaky.
Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask by Briogeo – Retail Price: $20.00
This is my third product from Biogeo. The other two are a curl defining cream
and a blow dry styling cream. I like the smell of their products and I think we can
all agree that a little help in restoring hydration and protection against future
damage is a must.
All in all, I am very happy with these products. Another plus
to this month is the fact that I received six items as opposed to five.
All of these products are going to go a long way for sure. If next months
box proves to be as exceptional, I may have to sign back on.
Until next time…
